With over 20 years of experience working with dogs, we have the skills to offer a variety of training programs, or customize a program to suit your needs.
In Kennel Training If you don't want to become a dog trainer yourself or are limited on the amount of time or energy you can spend training your dog, this is the program for you. We will take your dog and teach him/her basic or advanced obedience commands, then teach you and your family how to handle your newly trained dog. Our most effective obedience training solution, this program comes with a limited guarantee. This program is also offered in a maintenance series if you need to board your dog, we can work with the dog to maintain his previous training from us. Offered in basic on leash, advanced off leash programs, or both.
Private In home This training option allows you to train your dog in the comfort of your own home, and according to your own schedule. We will give you the skills to work with your dog, and customize this program to meet your needs. In private in homes you and your dog will learn basic or advanced obedience commands like sit, down, stay, come, walk well on a leash, as well as basic problem solving. We customize this program to meet your needs as well as the needs of your individual dog. Schedule availability for this program varies. We generally provide private sessions Monday - Friday on a first come first serve basis with the first session of the day starting at approximately 11am. Last session is usually 7pm. Our afternoon/evening availability varies, we usually book those slots approximately 2-3 weeks in advance, contact us today to schedule your session!
Behavior Modification If you're having problems with your dog being aggressive or anxious, this is the program for you. We will come to your home, take a full written history on the dog and assess his suitability for this program. Then we will go over the things you can do to modify the dogs behavior, and develop a plan to help you accomplish this. This program requires a minimum of 2 sessions.
Level Classes Our new and exciting style of basic group classes offer you much greater SCHEDULE FLEXIBILITY and creates an easy going environment where students progress at their own pace. You may purchase as many sessions as you think you'll need to go through our program (available in 6, 8, 10, and 12 packs) and if you miss a class or two, you will not fall behind (there ARE some time limits on the packs though, for instance with a 6 pack, you will have 10 weeks to complete the program, see the signup page for more details). Orientations are taught every 2 weeks, no more waiting to start the next class! Currently these classes are offered only at our Palmdale location (Jpatrick Kennels) We'll cover the on leash basic obedience commands of sit/stay, down/stay, come, walk well on a leash, sit for greeting visitors, and some basic problem solving. This course comes with a manual to further your education, and help you remember what was taught in the class.

Puppy Preschool For owners with puppies under 16 weeks of age (too young for group class) we will come to your home, and provide a 2 hour puppy orientation designed to help you start your pup off on the right paw. You'll learn how to develop and maintain an appropriate relationship with your puppy, how to start basic obedience trainining, how to prevent problems BEFORE they happen, socialization skills, and much more.
Protection training This program is only offered to a limited number of dogs who prove the proper temperment and ability to perform this work. Call us to set up an evaluation for this program, for the ultimate in personal or family security dogs.
Canine selection services Are you looking for the perfect dog to match your lifestyle? We're here to help. We'll have you fill out our questionnaire and then discuss with you your specific needs. Then we'll help you find the dog you're looking for. This program can be combined with training packages (including board and train) to enhance your relationship with your new dog.
Gift Certificates Does someone you know own a new dog? Give them the gift of a better K9 companion. We offer Gift Certificates for all of our training and selection programs.
Phone consults New! we offer free consultation for conversations lasting up to 15 minutes approximately. For our long distance clients or those who feel they would like to speak with us for an extended period of time regarding their dogs we now can offer SOME training advice over the phone. Contact us to set this up. We will require payment up front via paypal. Then set up a time to speak. This program can be purchased in 30 minute increments.
